Are fine courses, a top-level football match and a cool beer or two a dream combination for a golf break? Our group last week from the UK thought so. On their 2 night, 3 day break, they played at Golfclub Eichenried (home of the BMW International Open), Golf Valley and Golfclub Olching – all running fast and true in peak summer condition – whilst including in a visit to the Allianz Arena for a night of pre-season football action in the Audi Cup, featuring Bayern Munich and Liverpool. A visit to the Hofbraeuhaus, dinner at Kuffler and a stay at the excellent Novotel Munich City then rounded out their visit. A full, fun 3 days!
